Mphatso Zathu Foundation is a nonprofit organisation aiming at uplifting the lives of vulnerable people with paying attention to climate change, health life, education and alternate sustainable livelihood strategies.
Our interventions involve working with people from all walks of life ranging from the policy makers to the grassroots. We work with both local and international organizations, Community-based organizations, professional bodies, statutory corporations, government, and private corporations.
The overall aim of Mphafo is to assist or help, empower and provide needs of the vulnerable people.
To empower girls and women to tear the veil of invisibility, of illusion, of complicity, and of duplicity.
To provide services, support and empower all vulnerable people vis-à-vis girls and women through the provision of various services such as education, sexual and reproductive health, human rights and gender advocacy, rehabilitation, youth and women empowerment in climate justice, and provision of basic needs.
To promote a society that formally accepts vulnerable group of people with inclination to women, and girls, and that they are empowered, protected and contribute positively in the community’s development activities through gender balance and empowerment.
